If you are the parent/guardian of a child or young adult ages 5-21, who has been diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability, we encourage you to contact us today to schedule a visit, tour the Center, and have your questions answered as you seek to find the best educational environment for your child.

Enrollment is determined by St. Joseph Center for Special Learning after review of all recent evaluations and current Individual Education Plans (IEP.) An Intelligence Quotient (IQ) within the accepted range of intellectual disabilities is the general starting point, though additional factors may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Please do not allow finances to stand in the way should you wish to enroll your child at St. Joseph Center for Special Learning. Tuition assistance is available for qualifying families. To discuss your payment options, please contact us today.

During the school year, daily transportation to and from St. Joseph Center for Special Learning is provided by your public school district as long as the Center is within 10 miles of that district’s outer most boundary (PA Act 372.) If your school district of residency boundary is beyond 10 miles from us, it may still be possible to arrange transportation at the discretion of district personnel.
