SCHOOL PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES

Part-time Practical Assessment Exploration System (PAES) Lab Supervisor
– 29 hours/week (5.8 hrs/day). This position is year-round.
– Experience with children with special needs is recommended.
– Minimum requirement of high school diploma.
– Clearances required.

Job Functions: The PAES Lab Supervisor oversees a school-based work training lab, providing hands-on instruction and supervision to students as they learn and practice job-related skills. This role coordinates daily lab schedules, ensures a safe and structured environment, and monitors student progress and behavior. The supervisor tracks outcomes, completes required documentation and reports, and shares observations with the educational team to support student learning goals and IEPs. Additional duties are performed as assigned in support of the program. This role involves working hands-on with students of varying abilities in a positive and enthusiastic environment, ensuring they receive the guidance and support necessary for their individual learning needs.

Part-time Teacher Aide
– 29 hours/week (5.8 hrs/day). This is a school-year-only position.
– Experience with children with special needs is recommended.
– Minimum requirement of high school diploma.
– Clearances required.

Job Functions: The Teacher Aide supports the classroom teacher by assisting with instruction, supervision, and daily classroom activities in a special education setting. This hands-on role works closely with students of varying abilities, providing individual or small-group support, helping with daily tasks (including personal care when needed), and promoting positive behavior and social interaction. The aide helps maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment, prepares classroom materials, communicates effectively with staff, and participates in school events and training.
